Enjoying our Christmas vacation in Pacific Grove / Monterey, CA. Baby jet lag is something of a pain in the ass but everyone seems to be having a good time.
It was the kind of Thanksgiving that would make Norman Rockwell fans downright envious.
I'm thankful for our ever-expanding family. I'm thankful that, thus far, we've been able to see everyone together at least once a year. I'm thankful that my grandparents moved to Atlanta. (Not that we won't miss seeing them every month or so, but I think it's better for everyone that they're living in a city with family closer than a 90-minute drive.) I'm thankful that Elizabeth and her cousins are growing into healthy, happy little Hollands. I'm thankful for Jennifer's cooking. I'm thankful for Suburban Lanes bowling, and for the occasional strike to compensate for my complete lack of bowling ability otherwise.
