Amy and Tanya decided that St. Petersburg bored them so much, they needed to just get on the road and drive South. That makes it sound a little more dramatic than it needs to, but it's true, and I don't blame them. I wasn't sure why they thought staying in St. Pete for their honeymoon was the thing to do in the first place. Packing up and pointing the car in the direction of the Keys certainly has more romantic flair.
And no, I don't know where they ended up.
We've mostly recovered from the housewarming party, although we have a bunch of beer left and some finger food that we've been heating up for lunches, etc. I've been trying to get back into the groove of the web sites and working on the creation of our next book, and the continued promotion of our current book. Hopefully, back to life as usual.
We got invitations this week from both Necronomicon and Dragon*Con to return as guests for this year's conventions. Dragon*Con's message was not so much an invitation to attend as an invitation to apply again, but I'm fairly optimistic that they'll have us back. Once they saw us "in action" last year, they seemed anxious to get us on more panels.
We do love hanging out with the geeks. Some of them even buy books.
