Shoe switches feet
Christina's step-sister, Heather, spent last night at Eckerd College, doing the prospective student thing. Looks like we'll have a relative in town come Fall. Heather says she was leaning towards Eckerd pretty heavily, but now she seems sure that this is the place she'll be attending school in August. (The full-tuition scholarship probably didn't hurt.)
Some of you know that this is particularly appropriate not only because Christina and I both went to Eckerd, but also because I had relatives in town (my grandparents) who were my support network and helped to keep me sane. Since we're going to be in St. Pete for at least the next year (and hopefully longer), we'll try to pay back that karmic debt by acting as Heather's in-town support. It's a burden we're happy to shoulder.
