Apple Records
Apple unveiled their new dollar-a-song music service today, which is exactly the kind of thing I've been waiting for. (Sorry, it's Mac only for now.) This is kind of amusing for those people who remember Apple's original agreement with the original Apple Records (the Beatles' label) not to go into the music business. They later made another agreement (not without an exchange of currency, I believe) when it became clear that the Beatles' Apple was unlikely to do much in the music business again, ever.
Also, there's a new 30GB iPod out, and a new design with controls that are touch-sensitive only. Buttons begone.
