Road closed - yeah, right
The bricks are all in place, but the crew left the "Road Closed" sign blocking the alleyway. Presumably this was because there was some work left undone -- a pile of sand and a few loose bricks lying around. About fifteen minutes passed before one of our neighbors pushed it out of the way enough to allow a car to pass through. So although the work isn't officially done, it's good enough for those who feel inconvenienced by further closure of the road. That includes us.
Every time we drive by it I'm reminded of the 1960s Batman TV series, in which Batman's secret lair was hidden by a flip-down Road Closed sign. Welcome to the Batcave.
