Things we learned when cleaning the new house
• Cleaning the crud off refrigerator shelves is bad, but cleaning someone else's refrigerator crud is worse.
• Hardwood floors can be slippery when polished.
• A bigger kitchen just means more floor to mop.
• Fireplaces suck. Soot never really comes out of the brick -- the more you brush it, the more it just spontaneously regenerates.
• The one thing we'll really miss from our old apartment is the water pressure. Does anyone out there know anything about shower heads?
