Battle of the V's
My Vonage box arrived today. Not bad, considering I ordered it on Friday. Score one for Vonage.
There was a lot of moving stuff to do tonight. So much, in fact, that I didn't even think of hooking the Vonage box up to the house network until just now. Trust me, this never happens. Usually the toy is out of the box and hooked up as soon as I get home. There's something about moving that just consumes your entire consciousness until it's done. However, I did hook the darn thing up and plugged a phone in. Zero configuration. Got a dial tone. Called my cell phone. Called back from the cell phone. Looks like it all works.
Cool. Once I get the cable and power up and running at the new house and I test the Tivo with this thing, I'm calling Verizon. Cut me off, James Earl Jones.
