Hey, that wasn't so hard.
The test batch of chili came out pretty well. I hear tell chili is best when left to cool and then reheated, so we'll see what happens when Christina and I have it for dinner tomorrow night. Then I'll make the "real" batch on Wednesday or Thursday night for the contest on Friday. I don't think this is award-winning chili, but it's a break from the usual, it's cooking, and I won't have a ton of leftovers.
