Hey, remember when this blog was about cooking?
I made a chicken pot pie Friday night, the first non-"from a box" cooking I've done in some time. Yum. Now I need to work on my cheese sauce – I made some for our broccoli last night and the Velveeta split from the milk almost immediately. D'oh! Serves me right for trying to take the (ahem) cheesy way out.
Christina's PhD defense is tomorrow. I am happy to report that freakouts have thus far been minimal. Yes, I'm knocking on wood as I type this.
