Whatever happened to the Friday Five?

I have listened to some music on it, but mostly it's a tool instead of a toy. Boring, I know.
Book sales have slumped, which is to be expected after the initial push. We're hovering at about 36,000 on the Amazon sales meter, and I haven't sold one direct since we stopped the free shipping offer. I'll probably reinstate it in October. That, combined with some of the press we will be getting (hopefully) between now and Christmas, will help us unload the remaining copies in storage. Fingers crossed. Meanwhile I'm still sending out mail, filling out postcards, sending out the occasional press kit.
Teresa and Tim are having an estate sale to help clean out Teresa's mom's old house; we'll be taking some of our stuff over tonight to add to the party. We've been waiting for an opportunity like this for a while, as some things simply cannot be sold on eBay and shipped easily. (19" TV, anyone?) So that's my Saturday right there. Haven't done the garage sale thing in a while, so it should be fun.
Should have some word on Christina's dissertation defense date soon.
