I hate Kash n Karry. They're the closest grocery store to us and they are open all night, but their selection sucks and half the time their debit card readers aren't working. For someone who lives on his debit card, that's an important consideration.
Tonight the card readers were working, but I couldn't find half the things I wanted. Corn muffin mix? Only the nasty Jiffy variety. (Normally Jiffy muffins are OK in a low-rent sort of way, but their corn muffins are truly wretched.) I opted for corn meal so I can make my own, anyway. The item I truly missed, though, was the yellow box of Famous Chocolate Wafers. Everyone knows you can't make the incredible St. Patrick's Day creme-de-menthe dessert (recipe to follow once I piece it together again) without FCW's! And yet, KnK didn't have them.Not in cookies, not in baking goods, and not in the ice-cream "condiments" aisle. And thus I say to you: I hate Kash n Karry.
