Here is the scene in the Carolina's where there is no school for obvious reasons. The only problem is that all ice equals no fun. However, nothing rivals a free day from school. Here is the picture.
In the Clairmont neighborhood, all along Lamont and Vidal, up Clairemont Road into town, you see the following:
This is the typical Decatur oblique response to the proposal being considered by the school board, to consolidate the district, and close several of the elementary schools, including (gasp!) Clairmont Elementary.
Meanwhile here's another Canadian shot. No, not Vancouver. Lamont Drive, where one of the houses is now on the market for $649,900.
