First post at the new server

This is the first post on the new web server. If you see this post in addition to the "last post at the old server" message below, you are looking at the new server. If you are a family member and you want a web-accessible e-mail address at yyyyx.com, please e-mail me.

Move begins now. If you see this message, you're still looking at the old server; your local computers should catch up with the change in a day or so. You can see the new server here.

Web host about to change

I've been meaning to change hosts for a while now to get us a better rate and more space. The domain name change will happen sometime late this week, so if you get a "host not found" message you'll know why. Check back later; it should only take a few hours to roll over. I'll be changing the blogger settings accordingly.

In addition, we should have a number of e-mail addresses available, so if anyone wants theirname@yyyyx.com, let me know. This address will be permanent and will be accessible via a web interface, so there's no reason to hang on to those old college addresses or yahoo accounts if you'd like an alternative.

I'll make one more post on this server before the change happens, so you'll know when you're looking at the old server vs. the new. I will move all contents of the old server to the new as well.
