Dark Day An Atlanta institution, Tortillas, is closing. Guess it's time to head over for one last shot of green chile sauce.

For some, Paducah was a Snooze
As you know we spent the last several days in Paducah, seeing the quilt show, checking out wedding venues, and shopping. The people-watching was certainly good. We stayed with a local family, arranged by the American Quilters Society and the local Chamber of Commerce, and due to that arrangement met a very sweet couple, the Joneses, who were spending their week manning a jewelry booth in one of the local storefronts. We ended up buying a purse from them.
We also had a very pleasant evening with Sarah's mother, step-dad, and grandmother, during which we were treated to a delicious dinner. We got a tour of the Hughes' new house and talked about our children. If you can't wangle a dinner at Betty's house, the next best place in town is Flamingo Row.
I'm not sure how Captain Ahab got this far inland. Perhaps he sailed up the Mississippi.
