This week has been loads of fun, let me tell you. On top of balancing the business, cat care and clearing out the parents' kitchen, my real job was a royal pain in my ass. Then, on Halloween, Jennifer and I discovered that a small bird had infiltrated the feline defenses at 140 Ridley Cir. Quickly dubbed "Flappy", our small brown friend provided us with an hour or so of exercise giving chase, then quietly slipped out an upstairs window that was opened just for him. Freaking Nature, man. What's up with that?

But now it is Saturday, and things are normalizing again. Ma and Pa are due to arrive home around 5PM or so, and Jennifer and I are headed back over to HQ to continue dismantling the kitchen. Imagine our glee at finding tarragon from 1991 and furniture polish manufactured when CFCs were still the aerosol propellant of choice. I am reminded now of where my pack-rat tendencies originate. (Are you listening Toey? This, too, could be you.)

We took a few more pictures of the progress made over the last several days. Note that those new double doors are the breakfast room, if you can believe that. The siding has also begun to magically appear on the house. Enjoy.

Here are a couple of long-awaited pics of the construction progress.
That's all I have for now.

Hello all, this is Jennifer I have never posted anything before, this is fun. I just wanted to let you know that I took new pictures of the house this afternoon and Geoffrey will be posting them tonight. All the cats are fine and accounted for (Lynn). I also took the praxis on Tuesday and I passed math and reading, I will find out about writing in 2-3 weeks, but I have my fingers crossed. It was a lot easier then I thought it would be. Anyway, hope everyone is having fun wherever they are.

Last View before We Left

This is the last pic we took before coming to Texas. More when we get back on the weekend. You can see the beginnings of the deck.
