Everything here in Durham is going well. It looks like Sarah is finally going to get a job after a month and a half of paperwork for Ann taylor Loft, now she can work for the rest of the summer, which is almost over. She is also getting Lasik surgery on July 27 so that she won't have to wear glasses for at least another 20 years (or so they say). She is very excited about this because she has been wearing contacts or glasses since she was 4 or 5.

I found out yesterday that I was chosen for the Duke Law Journal. This basically means that I will be doing a LOT of work editing and cite-checking professor's academic articles as well as writing a draft of my own Student Note which I can submit for publication in my third year. It's not the most exciting thing in the world, but employers look for it as a sign that you're a decent writer and worker, and several of my friends are on it, so I'm excited.

In other news, my job is going fine. The professor I work for no longer has to testify regarding a motion for John Walker Lindh because of the plea bargain. He is also now in Hong Kong, so my correspondence with him consists of delayed reaction e-mailing. That's all from here.
