Amy made a special trip over here this afternoon to deliver the family copies of Reel Shame. She reported that her mother read it in the car on the way back to Ohio, and laughed out loud the whole way. The book looks great. Congratulations to Christopher and Scott and all their assistants! We got the new NOWFF cups, too. Now all we need to do is break out the cheap beer!

Decatur, in its typical politically correct, everyone is a winner way, has named three students as valedictorian. Joy. I'd rather just be saluditorian and not go through the hassle of giving a speech or, as the administration has suggested, a dialogue with the other two valedictorians. Can it get any lamer than a dialogue between the three of us? I've had many suggestions from the family, my favorite of which is Benjamin's--a performance of a scene from Romeo and Juliet. Right now though, I just want to go back to sleep.
