Updates have been made to the family cookbook. Unfortunately, the recipe database doesn't seem to have the recipe for creme de menthe brownies.

Mother's Day Weekend

Was the weekend of the eating . . . and eating, and eating, and . . . .

Given the number of cooks in the family, and the added stimulus of Food TV (Alton Brown was our celebrity sighting of the weekend), it shouldn't be surprising that when we get together there is a cook-off.

Jennifer and Geoffrey found that they can indeed feed a dozen people in their apartment, although we pretty much went through all the silverware before the evening was over. Friday night we had Sherri Brown over to a gathering of the clan, as the last Holland departs the halls of DHS. Then today Pamela and Simon cooked Mother's Day Brunch for everybody, including Simon and his Mom, Jeanne.

We will all now go on a 3-day fast.
